Well last night started off by remembering a great friend and attending the 1st annual pancake dinner and supporting the American Cancer Society. I'm sure everyone has been affected in some way either by knowing someone who has had cancer or lost a close family member or friend. Last nights pancake dinner was to pay tribute to one of my good friends as well as to many others, Josh Tittle, what a great friend and role model for that matter. He was a strong, driven, individual and determined to make good out of his situation. He blessed the lives of so many and will continue to inspire me and everyone else he came in contact with.
After catching up with great friends at the pancake dinner it was off to Cheddars to catch up with two other friends genius and the coach. Talking about what's in store for the weekend and what's being planned for spring break. Conversations and laughter usually comes out when being around these two so that always puts people in a better mood.
After Cheddars it was off to catch up with some old friends that I haven't seen in a while and catching the Eli Young Band perform. Not the average country band to say the least but the songs I knew brought back some memories. After seeing co workers, double d, lo, and a few others made the night more enjoyable. I guess the majority of SA decided to show up because it was literally shoulder to shoulder in the building and basically getting violated everytime someone would walk by. Thankfully we had the perfect spot with the AC blowing right on us and made things a little easier. Lyrics and laughs came from everyone throughout the night along with a few drinks. Had to be responsible and take it easy due to having work in the AM. Ran into old friends from back home and it's good to see what they are up to and how life is treating them. All in all the night was a success and plan to continue the weekend on a relaxing pace and see how things unfold.
And if you're not a part of it, at least you got to WITNESS
