Usher Raymond IV

So Usher is one of the greatest R&B artists of our generation and past decade. His music relates to so many people on a personal basis and its not just about making songs because its the popular topic at the time. He has had hit after hit after hit and 13 top 20 singles. He has had millions and millions of album sales and those numbers continue to grow. He recently became divorced and that really gives meaning to his song "Papers." He wasn't divorced when he wrote the song and didn't get divorced because of the song. It's amazing to see someone start off with a career at the age of 11 but became famous and well known at the age of 13. In 1997 Usher teamed up with someone who would help sky rocket his career, Jermaine Dupri. They teamed up to make the album My Way in 1997, which had the single "You make me wanna" and "Nice & Slow". He later came back to make his next studio album 8701, which had "U remind me", "U don't have to call", "U got it bad". This CD was a classic and the songs still don't get old to me. Every now and then I have to revert back to that CD and jam it out. He is such an entertainer and musician and is such a pleasure to watch him perform. Well with a few more years passing by, Usher released is Confessions in 2004 which has now been certified Diamond, selling 10 million plus copies in the US alone. Confessions had some of the songs like "Yeah!", "Burn", "Confessions Pt. 2", and "Caught up". After taking off for a while he returned with Here I Stand in 2008, which had singles like "Love in this Club", "Trading Places", "Moving Mountains", "Love in this Club pt 2". After all that he still came back and made Raymond vs Raymond in 2010. The album hasn't dropped yet and is slated to release March 30, but the album got leaked early. It contains singles such as "Papers", "Daddy's Home (Hey Daddy)", "Lil Freak ft Nicki Minaj" and I got a chance to hear the whole album already and I really like his other songs on there like "Blockin", "The Realest One", and "She Don't Know". Usher was recently on the NBA All Star Game pregame show and performed some of the songs off the album. He is an amazing artist and his music relates to me so I figured that it would be good to share a little bit about one of the if not the greatest R&B artist of my lifetime.

Enjoy this sneak peak of the video which you can catch all of it if you're up late on AM on MTV and also catch "Hey Daddy" video.

And if you're not a part of it, at least you got to WITNESS
